There’s a wonderful skating rink in the middle of Stockholm, in Kungsträdgården, where you can rent skates and they play great music for you to glide (or fall) on the ice to. And it’s free! The other fabulous mid-city skating rink that comes to mind is The Rink at the Rockefeller Center in Manhattan – but they charge $16.
I don’t how long the Rockefeller Rink has been around, but the rink in Kungsträdgården (The King’s Garden) has been around for 48 years.
That’s longer than I’ve been around.
