I went to an artist talk last night with Sarah Moon at Fotografiska, the larger of two museums dedicated to photography here in Stockholm. She was charming.
I was oddly comforted by Ms Moon recounting her sometime agony of reaching for something that she couldn’t quite put her finger on, an uncontrived movement or attitude, standing in the studio with models and a whole team waiting; feeling like she would never again be able to deliver a photo worth while – – and then, suddenly, there it is. From out of nowhere.
She also had a charming slip of the tongue when talking about Photoshop. She called it Photoposh before she corrected herself… Loved that!
